Arctic Monkeys fans react to huge rush for UK tour tickets

  • 13 Apr, 2018

Arctic Monkeys fans have reacted with a mixture of joy and frustration after tickets for their UK tour went on sale this morning.

After the announcement of their sixth album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino’, the Sheffield band confirmed their live return earlier this week – with shows scheduled at UK arenas across September.

But from the minute that tickets went on sale at 9AM, fans faced an uphill battle to get their hands on some seriously coveted tickets.

For those who weren’t so lucky, it was pure heartbreak.

“It’s easier to get a reservation at Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino than Arctic Monkeys tickets right now and that doesn’t even exist”, one user wrote.

“6 computers set up and not one pair of tickets in sight, Happy Friday  #arcticmonkeys”, another said.

Check out a series of reactions from miffed Arctic Monkeys fans below.
